Truro is a place where the light (made famous by Edward Hopper) bends in unexpected ways as it bounces from the bay to the ocean. Rachel captured this shot in 2021, during Truro's off-season when the beaches are empty and the light has a stark and ominous quality. Capturing the moment where the light illuminates and creates an ethereal landscape is always at the forefront of Rachel's work.
