Aquinnah is a limited edition print, shot in 2022, by Rachel Wynne. Derived from the Native American language, Aquinnah translates to “high land”. Dramatic and unique with cliffs dropping to the Atlantic, Aquinnah is known for its historical importance to the native Wampanoag people. Aquinnah, being the western-most town on Martha’s Vineyard, it feels like you're reaching the end of the world. The claystone, sandstone, and (organic) lignite that comprise the cliffs is ever-changing with the western light.
